there must have been great plumes of smoke, dust and debris when the big bang occurred.


Dust still covered everything hours later.

It didn't really faze everyone.


Lots of windows were broken in the buildings around the site, but most of Vancouver's blue glass stood tall.


This dude left his mark in the dust.

city of lights


the annual lantern festival was held at trout lake last night. thousands of people roam the greenspace down the street from our house, meandering with their home made lanterns in the night.


The were lanterns of bikes and paper bags and glass jars and papier mache and of spongebob and tealights and globes and ... everything you could dream of.
